Nilsen ends the debate and the current Vice President, George Blazinski, plugs the Founders Day Ball and says that there will be an acceptance speech from the winning ticket.

Closing Statements:
Spelman: If I could sum up our campaign in one word, it would be "progress...we've made progress, we'd like to make more progress." She repeats the 6 years of experience between the ticket.
Bentz: "Get out there and vote...I want to hear what you have to say even if you disagree with me..." Bentz lists his roles (head of Boken, SIT-TV participant) and Fix discusses seeing the SGA from varied perspectives. "We're not here for ourselves, we're here to give everyone else a voice."
Coyle thanks the opposing tickets for their participating in the debate and again encourages the audience to "get out and vote," and jokes, "and please vote for us." He continues, "It's great to have experience, but there also needs to be that dedication factor that we feel is missing from a few folks..." He goes on to thank the outgoing SGA cabinet for all their hard work.

Audience question: It seems as if RSOs are being dictated to about what they do and that they are being disrespected.
Spelman: The sub-committee relationship is the important part here and they should be the main advocates to the Senate for their RSOs. Unfortunately, during the long budget meetings people sometimes lose their temper and that there should be more 5 minute breaks for people to take a rest.
Fix: Quicker turnaround time for budgets so that RSOs have feedback well before it comes to the Senate.
Coyle discussed that he selected Skole as his VP specifically because he runs a good meeting. Skole now suggests an RSO advocate, a "public defender" for their RSOs.
For rebut, Appleheimer accurately points out to Skole that the "public defender" position already exists, in the form of the sub-committee chair.

10:20pm
Audience question: How do you decide what new RSOs are relevant and which are not? For example, do you decide based on population?
