Power created the storyboard for the production and the entire production took roughly a year to complete due to many editing and technical difficulties. During shooting, Power lifted approximately 60,000 pounds in a single six-hour shoot. "I knew I was in for a long night of lifting, about 125 exercises," stated Power. The exercises were then edited by local film producer Jason Baden. The final product is a professionally filmed instructional DVD/video 48 minutes in length and in full color. "Lift to Stay Fit" can be purchased as a DVD on Amazon.com, at the Campus Store, and will soon be available on Roger Power's personal websites, rogerpowertrain.com. and lifttostayfit.com.
Thus far, Power has received positive feedback and is looking to start his next production geared towards children. Power is looking to combat the growing problem of obesity in children by developing a video that will encourage children to be more active and incorporate safe strength training into their lives. Power was adamant that "longevity of health and fitness is lifting weights."
