This past weekend, a new boutique opened on Washington Street. Its narrow storefront makes the place easy to miss when passing by, but you will do a double take when you have a glance at the store window display. Located at 610 Washington Street, Define opened its doors to customers on April 21.
Some of the items that are carried for women include shorts, capri pants, babydoll style tops, skirts, caps, belts, tees, zip-up hoodies, and dresses. Some brands of dresses include I On, Collective Clothing, and Magenta. For denim, Define has a large selection of True Religion and Just USA.
The owner, Roberto Barker, favors items out of Miami's South Beach, Orlando, and New York City. For the owner, price is very important. Since the store carries such trendy items, the reasonable pricing is appealing to those who follow trends and will only wear a piece a few times.
For items for men, Barker exclusively carries Cut and Sew and Artine. Several casual dress shirts were on display as well as tees. The owner enjoys carrying a few items exclusively in Hoboken for the benefit of the customers. Also unique to the store are items for your dog. While you shop, you can even keep your small dog with you. Leashes, collars, carriers etc. are available for purchase.
Not shopping but you are with someone who is? Right at the entrance there is a couch facing a large TV. You can request to watch a certain channel or a specific sporting event. What a good way to relax during your stroll or shopping trip on Washington!
