It has been about a month since Provost Stephen Director announced that he would be leaving Drexel to head to our co-op brethren of the north, Northeastern University. The last time Drexel had to search for a new provost, it took a committee of administrators, faculty and students 18 months to find and decide on Director.

Lara Seligman's article, "With rising gas prices, SEPTA ridership up," highlights how high gas prices have created a strong economic incentive that has compelled many to choose SEPTA over driving for their daily commute to work.
